One of the more challenging jobs of board chairs and other board peers is dealing with difficult decision making where passion and emotion may run high. Facilitating effective meetings is not a natural skill—it’s learned and there are some critical factors that make for inclusive input, effective management of disagreement and in some instances dealing with the aggressive board member.
